Ask Muslim – AI-Powered Islamic Mobile App
Ask Muslim is a beautifully designed and spiritually enriching mobile application that combines technology with Islamic guidance.
Built with Flutter, the app provides AI-driven answers to religious questions, accurate Qibla direction, personalized prayer times, and a seamless user experience.
Mockup Design
We began by creating a full prototype for all front-end pages using tools like Figma or Adobe XD.
A clickable mockup was shared with the client for approval before any development started.
Welcome Pages
A series of beautifully designed welcome screens introduce users to the app’s features:
- Overview of the AI-powered Q&A experience
- Benefits of personalized prayer times and the Qibla compass
- Minimalist design using an Islamic-inspired theme: green, white, and gold
Login / Signup Page
Users can sign up or log in using email, phone number, or social media. The interface includes:
- Responsive fields with validation
- Forgot password and recovery support
- Error and success message handling
AI Q&A Chat Interface (Main Feature)
A clean, chat-style interface lets users ask religious questions and get real-time AI-generated answers. Features include:
- Loading animation while waiting for responses
- Minimalist UI with large buttons for ease of use
- Smooth transitions and user-friendly design
Chat History Page
Users can view all their past interactions with the AI:
- Search bar to filter conversations
- Pagination or infinite scroll for smooth browsing
Qibla Compass
Using device sensors, users can easily locate the Qibla direction. Includes:
- Visual compass with arrow guidance
- Manual location input if GPS fails
Prayer Times Page
Displays prayer times based on the user’s location. Features include:
- Prayer reminder notifications
- Custom settings for Madhhab (Hanafi / Shafi’i)
- Support for different calculation methods
User Profile & Settings
Users can manage preferences such as:
- Calculation methods
- Madhhab selection
- Notification settings
Clean Architecture & Optimization
The app is built with MVVM architecture and optimized using state management tools like Provider, Riverpod, or Bloc. Features include:

App Store & Play Store Design
Created professional and visually appealing screenshots for both app stores, highlighting:

Screenshots are designed in multiple resolutions and include localized captions in Arabic, English, and French.
Backend Development
Development of all backend services required for the app’s features, including authentication, chat storage, prayer time APIs, and more.

Handled complete setup and deployment for both platforms:
- Build configurations for App Store and Play Store
- App metadata, descriptions, and screenshots submission
- App review support and issue resolution
Post-Launch Maintenance
Included free maintenance for 2 months post-deployment, with ongoing support for:
- Bug fixes and performance optimization
- Security patches and compliance updates
